Although the photo might suggest, but I have not seen any violence from the Hong Kong police side, they have fulfilled their role of simply blocking the road with total professionalism.
It is a good example how easily photography could be used for political manipulation.

At the beginning I was at the police side, then climbed over the fence and went to see the protestors.
The last day the police didn’t let me close to them (most probably were already preparing to use the tear gas, so the’ve sent all civilians away), so I had to go with the protestors. Actually it was the better place to be, assuming that you wish to take pictures…
